PRODUCTION SCHEDULING

Scheduling and controls are the key to on time performance on large contracts. Ecodyne Heat Exchangers production scheduling uses the following methods:

  1. Engineering and Manufacturing schedules based on computer estimates of man-hours per operation. These schedules are updated based upon changes in the scope of supply impacting man-hours.
  2. Materials schedules identifying purchased and inventories materials from master bills of materials.
  3. "Production Ship Schedule" maintained six to nine months into the future to track key milestones. This schedule is updated weekly.

  4. Assignment of a Project Manager to each project with the responsibility to monitor the progress of the order through Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing. The Project Manager functions as the liaison between the internal departments of the company and the customer, to assure all contractual obligations are met.
